Kela starts lifting restrictions on 14 May
Kela’s customer service point at the Iso Omena Service Centre will start gradually lifting restrictions starting from Thursday, 14 May 2020. However, Kela will not serve customers in the lobby, but only over the service counters equipped with glass screens.
The safest ways to use Kela’s services are still online or by phone whenever possible. You can also book a telephone appointment: www.kela.fi/web/en/book-a-time. Do not visit Kela’s customer service point if you are ill or in quarantine or if you suspect that you have been infected.
How to get to different units
All clients visiting the health centre should enter the Service Centre through the health centre’s own entrance next to the Finnish Red Cross Blood Service. The clients of the mental health and substance abuse clinic can also use this entrance.
All other customers should use the main entrance of the Service Centre to access the services that are open. The escalator that leads directly to the main entrance and both elevators and the stairs are in use. The entrance that leads directly to the maternity and child health clinic has been closed.
Customers can only spend time at the Iso Omena Service Centre if this is necessary in order to visit the services that are open: the library, the health centre, mental health and substance abuse services, the HUSLAB laboratory, HUS Medical Imaging (x-ray) or the maternity and child health clinic.
Customers are not allowed to stay and read books or magazines, for example. The hobby and leisure spaces at Iso Omena Library will stay closed until the end of May. These include the makerspace Paja, the music studio and the music room, the youth space Vox and all meeting rooms.
